calda necklace, ROSE QUARTZ

Fourteen millimetre rose quartz spheres, threaded on silk. The stone is warm and slightly translucent — blush rather than pink, the colour of skin in afternoon light. The clasp is custom hardware: an S-hook in sterling silver, large enough to be part of the design. It can be worn at the back or moved to the front or side — visible, as an object in itself.

The hook's shape is functional and curved at once. Sensual in shape, disciplined in form.
